Lola NEARLY Came To School After Lunch
I went home to see Georgia at lunchtime and nearly took a Lola back to school with me after noticing a moving lump in my bag. That was a close one Lola. Lola is still so little we have to keep her inside.

RAK Week For Teachers This Week
This week the teachers will be RAKing each other – this means it is our ‘random acts of kindness’ week. We will be doing nice things for each other like buying a coffee in the morning, doing someone’s duty and other kind things. It is always a lovely week. We did it in Room 5 earlier in the year. 
Stella The Author
Clever Stella has been working on a book at home with her family. She has been working on the book since September. She brought it in to show us and we are reading it. We are impressed. Clever girl Stella. A huge achievement. We love your stories. 
Christmas Fever Has Started In Room 5 As We Start Our Christmas Programme!
There will be Christmas writing, Christmas maths, Christmas reading and Christmas art. Ho ho ho…exciting!

Last NCEA Exam on Tuesday – Thank Heavens!!!!
Georgia has her last NCEA exam tomorrow! Thank Heavens. Can’t wait to have our household back to its calm, peaceful and serene ‘normalness’. It is a lot of pressure for our offspring during these big exams. It is the last year of NCEA actually so will be interesting to see what is done by the time your children get to year 11 and beyond.

Isn’t Jess clever? She has been working with the children to get our stall ready for market day. Here is our sign. The good news about Jess is she will be staying at KTS next year. Jess has lots of projects she is going to work on and being a teacher’s assistant is perfect for her at the moment, so teacher training college has been put on hold for a while. The school is so lucky to have Jess for another year helping in the classrooms. You will get to see her around the school in 2019.
