Do you have any old white socks at home you can donate to the intermediates? One of the groups are making snowmen for the market day.
Don’t Forget Mufti Day Tomorrow And A Gold Coin
The intermediates came and talked to us about mufti day tomorrow and what they are raising money for.
Our Market Day Idea
On Thursday 6th December it is Market Day for the intermediate children and little Room 5 have been asked to have a market stall also. We came up with a great idea. We are going to have a Christmas stand and we are going to sell magical reindeer sprinkles. We will all dress up in Christmas clothes and decorate our stall in full Christmas wonder. Hope you can come and support us for Market Day and take us shopping and help us ‘man’ our stand.
Senior Athletics Day Was Today
It always makes me smile that I have been blessed with a sporty child, (because I am not sporty at all – Olivia’s Dad is though). Olivia did so well at the senior athletics day. This is an annual event for year 4 to year 8 students. We have a ‘soft relaxed’ athletics day for the juniors on Tuesday 4 December (9 am until 12.30ish) on our school field. Hope you can come!

My Final Transitioning Children To School Forum Meeting
It was a lovely but sad night as I had my last transitioning children to school cluster meeting. Alison is our group Principal leader, I am the new entrant primary leader and Gaylene is the early childhood (kindy) leader for central Auckland schools. As you know I am passionate about ensuring children have the best start to school possible. I truly believe that setting children up positively for school sets a foundation for learning that carries on. This area of education is also about supporting parents into the schooling system. It can be a big scary new world at first and my hope is teachers in this level of the schooling system support and nurture families. New chapters ahead for the group and I am very thankful for the opportunity to share my views on a very important area of education.
Paddington Has Enjoyed Several Anti-Bacterial Hot Water Washes At Mrs Brown’s House
You will be pleased to see that our friendly classroom Paddington Bears have enjoyed several hot anti-bacterial washes after the junior school bug caused chaos last week. Rest assured our little Paddington buddies are now infection free and ready for new weekend adventures again. They are currently hanging on my clothesline and will return safely to room 5 by Friday. (By the way all dress ups and soft toys have been washed also!)
Mufti Day On Friday – Gold Coin Donation
We are raising money for WWF on Friday. The school is having a mufti day which means the children do not come to school in their uniform – they can wear home clothes (or dress up clothes if they prefer). Please bring in a gold coin donation – this money goes to WWF.
