No Cross Country Tomorrow

The weather and conditions are just too awful for cross country tomorrow.  The school will reschedule another date and let you know this week.  The picture above from The Wizard of Oz is when the witch has water thrown on her – it always reminds me of my oldest daughter who turns into a ‘drama lama’ when it is raining.  Keep dry and warm everyone – winter has arrived.

School LEGO Show

I know some of you have LEGO lovers in your family.

10 – 4 pm.

In our school hall.

Sunday 17 June.

It is amazing what worlds can be created with humble ole LEGO. This is one of our annual fundraisers for our year 6 leadership students who do a service trip to Tonga. Olivia went on this trip last year and still talks about the experience, something for your children to look forward to. The spirit of service is also something that our school fosters so all funds raised go towards a great cause while you enjoy some LEGO extravaganza.

William is one of our LEGO fans.

Enjoy The Long Weekend

Enjoy a well deserved long weekend everyone.  Mid term is always tough especially in the ‘germ term’ as we call it. Enjoy the extra day and see you all on Tuesday for cross country, (at school now), hopefully you all received the school email regarding the change in venue.

We Love You Claire From Scotland!

We can’t believe we only have you for one more week lovely Claire from Scotland.  We love you so much.  You have been an absolute hero coming in and helping us with our big busy class!  Mrs Brown’s life saver for sure!!!!!

A couple of children were away today but we will try and get that complete class photo before you go Claire!!!!

Rainbow Poems

With the change of season coming tomorrow and a real change in weather, we decided to do rainbow poems today and some rainbow art.  Come and have a look.  As the weather has got colder the rainbows will cheer us up.  The children will finish their space art tomorrow so the classroom will have lots of new things for you to come and look at!
