Our Room 5 Adventures

Miss K taught us how to say the Maori vowels correctly.  We played some games in Te Reo and learnt a new song.

We had a drone photo done of the whole school today – we all had to get into the shape of KTS.  Room 5 were the top of the K.  The drone took a photo of us all.  The photo is going to be part of Mr Heap’s leaving present.

Our class was spotted being tidy kiwis!!!  Yay we got a class certificate!!!!

So much fun today at Jump Jam.  We do this every Monday morning.  Well done to Julian, Catherine, Eloise and Tselmeg who got certificates today at our junior assembly.

We went over what makes a sentence today.  Full stops, capital letters, finger spaces in between words…so much to remember as well as writing in lower case letters, putting our letters on the line, starting at the margin and using a word card.  Phew.

We have had such a busy day!  We have done some space art to go with the space writing we did earlier this week.  We have also done a planet project and sang lots of space songs.  We will be space experts in no time!

It sometimes takes a little time to get use to the hustle and bustle of the playground at morning tea and lunch.  Our new boys are doing so so well.  Really proud of you!

Vincent shared with us his Cat Bus toy.  Cat Bus was very soft and Vincent did a great job talking in front of the class.  Well done.  Mrs Brown shared her kindle.  Some children had not heard of a kindle before so it was nice to share how I read my books.  I love my kindle and I love reading so was hoping to inspire the children that reading is enjoyable and I read every night too!
