Thursday 29 November – International Night at school (5.30 – 7.30)

Tuesday 4 December – Athletics Day  (9 am – 12.40 bottom field)

Friday 7 December – Market Day (2.30 – 3.30 bottom field).  Pick up is still 3 pm.

Friday 7 December – Reports home

Monday 10 December – The children meet their new year 2 teacher and find out who is in their class (after lunchtime)

Wednesday 12 December – Koru Team picnic at Melville Park (11 am – 12.40)

Friday 14 December – Final leaving assembly 12.45 (school finishes at 1.30 on this day)

Sorry for the confusion with the ever changing market day date and time.  BUT a new date has been locked in for Friday 7 December 2.30 to 3.30.  Pick up will still be 3 pm on this day, I will bring the children back up to the classroom and you are welcome to return back down to the markets. We will have intermediate children looking after our stall. 

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend. We are still besotted with our new baby kitten Lola, so getting very distracted.  Our Christmas tree goes up early in our household.  We have three families who we are friends with who are just as obsessed with Christmas as we are, so we see each year who puts up their tree first.  We were a bit slow last year so thought we would ‘go early’ this year.  It was lovely to see many of you with older children at the Eden Albert Cultural Festival at Rocket Park where KTS had an Indian dance group, Chinese dance group and Kapa Hapa goup performing.  It is an annual event.  Children can join cultural groups from year 4. Olivia has been in the Kapa Haka group since year 4 and has loved it.

Julian, Martin and William are part of the MSport Football Academy that will be coming in on Fridays at lunchtime.  The children had fun.  The first session was today.  If you are interested you can get details from the office – it is run by an outside organisation. 

We got a little fur baby today…her name is Lola and she is 8 weeks old. So tiny.  We are still getting Katie the golden retriever next month, but got the next few weeks to settle our tiny friend in first.  We will have lots of time over summer to settle our new furry family members into the Brown house.  Lola is a little sweetie.

Sorry the market day time and date will be changing again. This time of year is crazy with busy full schedules.  I will let you know as soon as a final date and time has been locked in the school calendar.
