Isn’t Jess clever? She has been working with the children to get our stall ready for market day. Here is our sign. The good news about Jess is she will be staying at KTS next year. Jess has lots of projects she is going to work on and being a teacher’s assistant is perfect for her at the moment, so teacher training college has been put on hold for a while. The school is so lucky to have Jess for another year helping in the classrooms. You will get to see her around the school in 2019.
Buddy Time
Our big buddies made games for us to play. What a lovely way to spend a Friday afternoon.
Sooooo Many Duty Helpers Today!
Mrs Brown had so many little Room 5 helpers at morning tea on duty, it was fabulous. Dr Julian attended all medical needs and applied plasters with specialist precision. Well done. Finn, Alexandra and Stella ensured all children had hats in the playground- they did this with fabulous gusto. We also enjoyed checking out all the little gardens around the junior playground.

School Certificates For These Two Star Students
Avery and Eloise were away today so couldn’t accept their school certificates in person – we will give them to them on Monday. Congratulations to June and Julian. That was our last school assembly. The next one is our formal prizegiving ceremony and is invitation only.
Our Senior Qualifying Athletes Are At Zones Today
Olivia is with the other senior school athletes at Mt Smart Stadium competing in the interschool zones today. Being a small school this can be an ambitious day for our athletes but to be honest I am just thrilled to see the sun is out, as it is often cancelled due to atrocious spring weather. When your children get to the senior school in a few years, if they qualify during our school athletics competitions, (done on timed runs or distance for jumping/throwing etc), they will be invited to take part.
